GEORGE MYLONAS
After successful completion of a Bachelor or Arts in Economics, George has devoted his efforts to the activities of Mylonas Enterprises Ltd., a real estate development company based in Calgary, Alberta.
Mr. Mylonas is responsible for the organization and implementation of the company's various management systems including leasing strategies involving structured leasing & tenancies for commercial centres held by the Corporation and identification of new tenants for other projects. His cost management expertise in the construction of the commercial projects undertaken by the Corporation emphasizes his abilities in finance negotiation.
Landstar Development Corporation, led by George Mylonas, was formed in 1999 and conducts the development activities of the family held Corporations. Landstar's premier project a 152 acre, 365 home development called West Springs Farm in East Springbank, consists of both single and multi family homes. This project was soon followed by The Portico, a 55-suite condominium project located in Bridgeland. The successful negotiation of a joint venture agreement solidified Landstar as an active partner in Elbow Valley West – a 125 acre estate residential community located on Highway 8 in the MD of Rockyview. This new development has achieved incredible attention and market acceptance with buyers.
